Jamaican governement pushing for increased castor oil exports to US

JAMPRO, the Jamaican government's export development wing, is looking to increase the country's export of agriculture products. As COVID 19 decimated demand for local farmers and producers due to low tourism, the government is looking to have the country expand into international markets. One of the products of interest is castor oil. The US demand for castor oil is around $174 million while Jamaica, a large producer, can only provides $4 million to the country.
