Iran has officially banned and halted all chicken egg exports, effective 4th of July. The decision has been taken to avoid further domestic price increases caused by the rising consumption during the pandemic. Iran's egg production output stands at 90 KMT/month and during the last fiscal year the country has produced 1.1 million tons of eggs, while exported 41 KMT.
