Comparison between this year's and last year's fish exports and their values in Tunisia

The exports of marine fishing products to the end of January 2020 reached about 1829.2 tons, at a value of 33.5 MD, compared to 2345 tons, at a value of 36.5 MD during the same period of 2019.
This decrease in the volume is mainly due to a decrease in Aquaculture exports (prawn fish) as it passed from 568.8 tons in 2019 to about 167.5 tons in 2020, and exports of mollusks, especially Swabi and calamari, decreased by 1.33% in terms of quantity and 3.39% in value compared to the year 2019.
