Egg prices increase by 30% in Turkey

Egg prices had hit rock bottom after exports to Iraq had come to a stop due to the COVID 19 outbreak however it has bounced back strongly and the egg prices have increased by 30% in the last month in Turkey. The farm gate price is around 2 USD per 30 eggs.

The chicken farms note that the price increase is directly related to the increase in their production costs, especially the rise in chicken feed prices.
