During the first half of 2022, Argentina exported about 20% fewer pears and apples due to the Russia Ukraine conflict, as Russia is one of the primary destinations for Argentinian fruit. Despite the drop in exports, there has not been an overstock of food since the production of pears and apples has also decreased in Argentina due to unfavorable weather.
