Logistics company in Nacala builds motorboats for fishermen in the region

Nacala Logistics, which is a logistics company in Nacala District, has constructed motorboats in order to support fishing activities in the communities of Massigirine and Nachiropa. This project benefits over 160 fishermen in the region. These new boats are suitable for open sea fishing, which means improved profitability for the farmers due to increased quantity and quality of marine catches. The vessels come with conventional fishing and safety equipment, such as fishing nets, buoys, life jackets, and also cooler boxes to conserve the catches during the fishing trip. This initiative is part of the Nacala Logistics Income Generation Programme, which covers 15,000 families, in the Nacala corridor, supporting in areas of agriculture, farming, fishing, financing, and more.
