A recent report released by the Indonesian Palm Oil Board (IPOB) showed an upward trajectory in export volume of crude palm oil (CPO) from Indonesia between August and October 2020. In September and October in particular, the export volume increased from 3.80 MMT to 4.73 MMT. Some of the main market destinations for this product during these months were Brazil, Malaysia, Russia, and China, with the export to China seeing the biggest jump at 9.6% growth.

Following the release of this report, IPOB has encouraged the national manufacturers of CPO to try maximizing the momentum to book another positive growth in the last quarter of 2020.
