Peru's international exports in February 2021 saw a 5.3% increase compared to the same period last year, totaling $3,592 million, as reported by the Institute for Research and Development of Foreign Trade of the Lima Chamber of Commerce (Idexcam). This growth is largely due to a significant increase in exports to China, which reached $1,273 million, marking a 50.17% rise. However, there was a decline in exports to India, South Korea, Japan, and Chile. The top product lines exported include copper minerals, gold, fishmeal, and iron minerals. Notably, fishmeal exports experienced a surge of 232.91%, and fish fats and oils saw a significant increase of 436.34%. Additionally, there was a notable rise in fresh grape and mango exports.
