The article reports on the inauguration of the 'House of Garlic' in Taroudant province, a project aimed at valuing garlic, fostering local development, and creating job opportunities, particularly for women. The project was a collaboration between the National Initiative for Human Development, the Agency for Social and Cooperative Development, and a local cooperative, with a budget of 1.65 million dirhams and additional funding for equipment. The facility, which includes a refrigeration unit and advanced equipment, meets industrial standards and is expected to improve local income and reduce the influence of middlemen. The initiative is part of the National Initiative for Human Development's solidarity rehabilitation programs in rural areas and has been successful since 2015, with garlic production in the Asaki region contributing to the national production of over 9,000 tons annually.
