(Agraria.pe) Yesterday the supply in the Great Wholesale Market of Lima (GMML) was 6,738 tons, 12.9% higher than that registered in recent weeks, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri). During yesterday morning only increases in the prices of three foods were reported: the mountain green bean, mountain green peas, and canary green beans. The price of broad beans rose 1.3% to S/ 2.03 per kilo, when in September this product cost S/ 1.76 at wholesalers. Green peas rose to S/ 2.05 per kilo, 2.5% more than what it cost last Sunday, and 4.7% more than a week ago. Even last month the price was S/ 1.84. Regarding the Canarian green bean, the Midagri indicates the wholesale price rose 3.4%, selling at S/ 3.05 per kilo. But what foods lowered their prices? The data indicates that 19 of the 26 products evaluated fell between 0.6% and 9.4% in the wholesale market.
