According to AKI PÁIR data, the national average producer price of raw milk in Hungary was HUF 172.41/kilogram in May 2023. In addition to a 0.01 percentage point decrease in protein content, a 0.12 percentage point decrease in fat content, and a 6 percent decrease in the base price, the average price of raw milk decreased by 8 percent in May 2023 compared to April 2023, and was 14 percent higher than the average price of the same month of the previous year.
