In W21 in the grape landscape, Egypt's grape season started earlier than in 2022, offering great opportunities for exporters, but fewer supplies are available. The demand in the Russian market is high, and only 10-15% of Egypt's grapes were exported. Lebanon's table grape season is developing well, with optimal temperatures, more surface area, and orders for the Red Globe, Black Pearl, Black Magic, Crimson Seedless, Scarlett Royal, and Arra varieties. South Africa's grape production is expected to drop slightly due to a lack of acreage and return to normal yields after a record harvest. The North Cape experienced a heat wave in January 2023 that damaged the grapes. The Moroccan table grape season for 2023, with the first harvests anticipated at the end of May 2023, is expected to be impacted by weather anomalies and dryness, but the damage is not as severe in all regions.

The Peruvian table grape industry reached a record of 65M boxes of fresh fruit, representing USD 1.498M due to an increase in white varieties due to varietal development, such as Sweet Globe and Autumn Crips. Australia's increasing grape production is driven by exports, with domestic consumption decreasing from 45% to 36% in 2022/23. It is expected to see a rebound in production and exports due to improved shipping availability and new plantings this 2022/23 season. Australia's table grape production and exports will increase even further in the future, despite the flooding that occurred in Victoria in December 2022.
