Agricultural drones are increasing in popularity amid the pandemic. The COVID pandemic has caused social lockdown, which has significantly limited the availability of the labor force for the agricultural industry. As such, more and more farmers are starting to use agricultural drones to reduce dependency on manpower. These drones are used to monitor plant growth and help fertilize crops to increase yields. The machine is equipped with intelligent sensors that allow easy movement in the field and the device is remote-controlled by farmers to avoid toxically. Each robot can handle the work of 15 - 20 people, on average. Versatile drones are now available throughout China and other countries, where they can sow seeds, spread fertilizers, and spray pesticides. Drones help save manpower, increase work efficiency, and reduce contact between people during the current pandemic. That's why local governments such as Vietnam, are subsidizing farmers to buy drones.
