Mexico has ended its ban on sending Temporary Foreign Workers to Canada after two laborers died of COVID in June. The governments of both countries came to an agreement to improve living and working conditions for temporary foreign workers in Canada. This is good news for Canadian fruit farmers who depend over 60,000 foreign workers every summer to help with fruit and vegetable picking, processing, and packing.
