Imports set to become more expensive due to the weakened Rand

The South African Rand continues to suffer during the national lockdown period and this may cause a spike in import prices for the country. South Africa imports a large number of food products from other nations and if the rand continues to plummet this may cause imports to become increasingly expensive propelling inflation of prices in the country.
