The supply chain of Spices in Ethiopia is being affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. Traders that buy spices from the growers and sell the products to the local and international buyers are not able to deliver their products to their customers due to the government's ban of all public transportation and movement of people as a measure to combat the outbreak. Spices are grown in remote areas of the country mostly far from the capital city, Addis Ababa, and the difficulty of using local logistics is hindering the supply chain of the sector.
