The Myanmar freshwater products are being stacked at the Saudia Arabia port as the Saudia Arabia Food Drug Authority has suddenly changed its import policy. According to the Myanmar Fisheries Products Processors & Exporters Association, the exported products have met the Saudia Arabia FDA, cold storage, and processing standards. The Myanmar authority will negotiate with Saudia Arabia for the permit of this shipment. Saudia Arabia was once the biggest importer of Myanmar marine products, but now due to the policy, marine exporters need to find new international markets coming season.
