The Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) has reported the current status of agricultural crops, including the detection and control of various pests and diseases. The report highlights the activity of Lobesia botrana in the Blagoevgrad district, along with its presence in other regions in April. The Plovdiv region has seen the emergence of the yellow vine mite. The first symptoms of Excoriosis and Powdery mildew have been detected in the Burgas and Blagoevgrad regions, respectively. The BFSA has recommended preventive treatments in several regions to control these issues.
