Producers suffer from lack of fruit consumption by the population in Brazil

Fruit producers are suffering from COVID-19 containment measures in Brazil. Considered as non-essential by the population who is focussed on produce that has longer shelf lives, fruits are being left a side. There has been much loss and processing industries are starting to stop production due to lack of space in their cold storages.
