Ground ginger root is a natural spice product obtained by drying and grinding fresh ginger rhizomes. It is characterised by an intense, slightly citrus aroma and a pungent, spicy taste. The product has a light yellow colour with a slight greyish tinge and a free-flowing consistency with acceptable lumps that easily break apart under pressure.

Powdered ginger root is valued for its sensory properties and versatile use in cooking and the food industry. It does not contain any foreign odors or flavors and complies with EU regulations on pesticide residues, heavy metals and mycotoxins.
